Work like his comes from the inside, from a compulsion for giving visual expression to thoughts, concepts, and a sense of what it is like to be in a certain place at a certain time. I have been following his work for several years now, and it continues to grow stronger, more confident. It takes courage to get up on stage and play the piano when you have never had a teacher! Banto is willing to put his best efforts out in public, and he is to be commended for his achievements in art so far, as well as for his perseverance in believing in the necessity of refining the natural graphic gift he is endowed with.
Die Arbeiten dürfen nicht verdrängt werden, obwohl Banto keine formale Ausbildung als Künstler gehabt hat. Arbeiten wie sein kommen aus dem Innern. Geboren durch den Zwang zu geben, Gedanken und Vorstellungen visuell zum Ausdruck zu bringen. Nem lehet szavakba önteni, amit érzünk, miután megtekintjük a fiatal Bántó Ruben festményeit, aki nem rendelkezik bármilyen művészi előképzettséggel. Munkái lelke mélyéből törnek a felszínre, kifejezve azokat a vágyakat, gondolatokat, melyek fontosak számára az életben. Bántó Ruben azzal, hogy ilyen nyíltan vállalja fel és mutatja meg műveit a nagyérdeműnek, példás magatartásra vall s arra ösztökélheti a fiatal művészt, hogy sikeres jövőt tudjon majd maga mögött. A tökéletes grafikai vonások, a pontosság mind azok az erényei, mellyel vágyai testet öltenek munkáiban.
